Most role
playing toys tend to be based around one thing; food. This is largely because
pretend supermarkets or grocery stores and pretend kitchens tend to be the most
popular of the role playing toys amongst young children. A lot of these toys
come with accessories included, such as kitchen utensils and play food.
However, it is often advisable to buy some added accessories to go with it. Not
straight away, but over time, maybe for their next Christmas or birthday. This
is a good idea because it maintains the child’s interest in the toy and adds an
extra element of excitement to it, ensuring that the toy never gets old and
unused.
There are
lots of traditional play food toys available; you have the plastic pizza which
can be separated into lots of different pieces or the selection of fruits to be
weighed at the grocery store. However, it is the unusual toys which will
provoke the most positive reaction from your child, and that will make them
want to start playing straight away. One of these is the Le Toy Van Ice-lollieswhich have become the latest craze in play food.
The Le Toy
Van Ice-lollies are six pretend ice lollies/ice creams which come complete in a
little white plastic tray. The ice lollies are bright, colourful and they vary
in different shapes and patterns. There is a fruit pastel ice lolly, which is
white, yellow, red and green in colour. Then there is also a heart shaped ice
lolly which appears to be covered in chocolate and finished off by being dipped
in nuts. In addition to this there is an ice cream which is two shades of pink
swirled together. Furthermore, there is a green and yellow striped lolly which
has had a bite taken out to reveal an exciting pink colour inside. The final
two lollies are ones which we would instantly recognise in a supermarket today.
First there is the Fab ice lolly, which is dark pink on the bottom, light pink
in the middle, and chocolate covered with sprinkles on the top. And lastly,
there is the Rocket ice lolly which believe it or not is shaped like a rocket
and is yellow, orange and pink in colour.
